Just spent the past week binge watching The Man in the High Castle.. it’s amazing, the underlying philosophical concept. Not the mention the beautiful cinematography, excellent actors and character writing that made us empathise with even the bad guys.. as Abendsen Hawthorne the Man himself said, some people remain the same down some paths in other worlds, but most people are different, depending on what circumstances they’ve had to live with or grow in.. they really went out and made the villains in this show frighteningly human and relatable.

Loved it, loved the cultural experience and transformation I went through. And the best way to put what I’ve been made to feel is probably through the mostly cinematic film score soundtrack of the show, and the chilling rendition of Edelweiss that is the show’s theme song - that minor IV chord embellishment when the main melody is repeated for the last time, followed by the V7 that they just, lol, decided not to resolve..
